SENIOR STRAY CAT SHOWS UP TO SHELTER LOOKING FOR HELP AND NOURISHMENT

A ginger cat used to show up every day in PurrEver Ranch Cat Sanctuary and, one day, when one of the workers was arriving at work when the ginger cat showed up in need of some attention. The employee had no option but to take him in, and as he carried the cat he felt that the cat seemed weak and hungry.

The first thing they did was take the cat to see a vet to get him vaccinated and evaluated. It was then discovered that the cat has FIV+ and he was at least 12 years old.

FAV+ is a bacterial type infection that meant the cat had to be extra cautious in its interactions.
